CB-Contest
Thanks to all of those who participate regularly or occasionally in this contest. Yet a little more thanks to those who provide their contest submissions.
I'll be happy to hear you all again, 73' Radek Lichnov
usually from Saturday 0:00 to Sunday 24:00
27. 9. 2024 00:00 — 28. 9. 2024 00:00
14. 12. 2024 00:00 — 16. 12. 2024 00:00
Each connection should contain: call sign (call sign or name), QTH - place of operation, grid locator, signal report.
There is 1 point for each connection; if the station changes its position and moves to another grid locator (further than the adjacent one), such a connection is valid too. You can also credit the connection via a repeater (1 point for all connections via one repeater). In case of operating from more places, write the "best" QTH in the report and sum up all connections.
The logbook can be written in any format. It should contain the date and time, the call sign (identification or name) of the opposite station, the QTH (preferably also the grid locator) of the opposite station and the signal report sent and received.
Due to many options of CB, from a baton antenna through a counterpoise, a wire antenna ..... to a directional antenna on a mast, it is very difficult to strictly specify the categories. Choose the category you feel optimal for your operation.
Infantryman - CB hand-held (so to speak a piece of equipment that fits into your pocket, wire antennas etc., transport to the hill mostly on your own on foot)
Mobile - operates from a car via a mobile antenna on the car (apparently this is clear enough)
Armoured - a mast with antenna (solid constructions, transport by public means, cars, cable cars, electric driven vehicles ...)
Home-based - broadcasts from his/her home QTH
Shared frequencies - VHF/UHF bands for license-free use
The equipment used must meet the legislative conditions of the country from whose territory it is operated (such as CEPT ...)
The scoring will take place automatically after filling in the form HERE. Each contest round will be evaluated separately. The submission should be made as soon as possible, but no later than 30 days after the operation date.
At the end of each period, all form data will be deleted. If you like, you can send a few words or a photo. They may be used to create an article about the event and posted on this site or other related sites aiming on CB topics. If you are interested, you can send it to the e-mail address soutez(a)svysilackou.cz.
Wish you all great conditions, no interference and a lot of DX's. 73'
